The XTV suite is composed of:
XCapture Recording module for time scheduled and real time acquisition:
- Real time AVI capture in various formats selectable from DV, HDV, MPEG-2, DVD, DIVX, MPEG-4, M-JPEG, MPEG-1, H.264, WMV, QuickTime, MXF etc..
- Composite, Component, S-Video and SDI Inputs according to installed hardware
- Input signal monitoring with audio level adjustment
XPlayout multiformat On-Air broadcasting automation engine manages the TV playout of video feeds and playlists:
- Compatible with all SD/HD media formats
- Automatic resolution and framerate scaling
- Direct control of VCRs, routing switchers, cart machines and GPIs
- Dynamic playlist management for last minute changes
- Automatic clip skipping, trimming and stretching for accurate timed events
- PAL/NTSC and IP streaming output
- Manual, automatic and spot/jingle machine playout mode
- Frame accurate with transition effects and logo/graphic superimposing
XTrimmer Media Editor allows metadata insertion and clip segmentation of the video feeds:
- Offline work on any NLE and capturing workstation on any other LAN PC with no specific hardware required
- Clip ID entry: name, category, notes, sublicp, duration, markers and reference image saved on NTFS metadata directly into the file without any external database requirement
- Clip splitting for advertisement break insertion
- transition/fadeout effects management
- Metadata and playout rules shared with other XTV suite applications
XScheduler is the playlist management and editing tool of XTV suite:
- Offline work on any networked PC with no specific hardware required
- Playlist creation and editing scheduled many days/weeks in advance
- Insertion of spots, promos, movies, video clips, news and any other feed shared on local network
- Media browsing and viewing
- Frame accurate advanced selection and editing features
- Instant Xtrimmer metadata management included
XEmergency application for fault tolerant playout and automatic recovery of on air in Server environment. It offers complete redundancy of up to 8 playout channels. In case of fault playlist restarts from same point of interruption.
XTV is available as turnkey system and as EZ-XTV kit which includes softwares and capture/playout cards to be installed on any PC.
