Oxygen 3000 Plus firmware 8.7: two-channel VoIP, smarter call signalling and more control
The Oxygen 3000 Plus console series enhanced by powerful upgrades to boost your broadcast workflow in the smartest way

Firmware 8.7 for the Oxygen 3000 Plus is available as of today, October 1st 2026.
It adds an optional two-channel VoIP function, extends call signalling to Mr Light RGB lamps, and brings a set of workflow refinements to the console, from a new Smart Keys interface to automatic configuration backups.
Optional VoIP 2Ch
Add two VoIP channels to your Oxygen 3000 Plus, complete with a dedicated web interface and two new audio sources. A new parameter lets you switch between audio streaming and VoIP, while a 60-second demo mode allows you to try VoIP 2Ch immediately. Contact us for a quote to install this option.
Know when the phone rings
A new global RING state GPO connects all telcos, phones, and Bluetooth devices, so an incoming call can light up lamps in the studio. Ring status for Telephone 1/2 and Telco 1 to 6 is now mirrored, Talk Show gains a ringing function, and RING and HOOK handling now works together with Mr Light RGB.
Mr Light, made easier
Identify a single Mr Light in a room full of them, and use the new GPI function to switch on your Mr Light RGB lamps over Wi-Fi from a dedicated list.
Faster, clearer control
- The new Smart Keys interface puts your key functions where you need them.
- The Oxygen 3000 Plus has a navigation menu on its HDMI output.
- AUX-1 and AUX-2 gain a Variable mode with level adjustment.
- A new SPK/HDP source, with or without level control, feeds multiple external headphone amplifiers.
- Snapshots are improved, including changes on the same source and F1/F2 key management.
- Mixer configuration can now save itself automatically: Off, 1, 2, or 4 weeks.

Our R&D Director, Christian Sighinolfi, contributes a piece on how integrated call management is reshaping studio planning. As VoIP lines and Bluetooth connections become native console functions, the question engineers ask when planning a studio changes — from how much hardware to rack, to how many simultaneous conversations a format genuinely needs. The piece features a real-world installation of the Oxygen 3000 Plus Talk Show System at MFM Radio in Casablanca.
